DID YOU REMEMBER PA EMPLOYERS !

National Minimum Wage

A new Direct Care Insurance Policy has been launched by a company called HOME CARE INSURANCE SERVICES. They are providing Employers and Public Liability Insurance. The web link is:www.mmib.co if you require further information.

National guidance on self-directed support, published July 2007, by the Scottish Executive's Primary and Community Care Directorate Adult Care and Support - Change Team,is available to download from the following link: http://www.scotland.gov.uk/181224

The term SELF-DIRECTED SUPPORT used by the Scottish Executive in this Guidance is an indication for its possible usage more fully than Direct Payments - (Independent Living? Is this the breakthrough!)

PA EMPLOYERS REMEMBER!

National Minimum Wage

SPAEN is a membership organisation and its members are all people who have made the transition from having their care needs organised by the state to taking over the management and control of their own assistance.   SPAEN, therefore, hosts a unique body of lived experience, information, and knowledge of personal assistant employment, which cannot be found within any other public or voluntary organisation in Scotland.
