Work Experience

Nina Baker is a councillor for Glasgow City Council and she is looking for disabled people to shadow her in her work and gain some experience of council work.  Some of the tasks you could do would be;

• Sitting in on council meetings
• Accompanying Nina to committee and other meetings
• Working with Nina on issues of interest, perhaps with a view to writing a motion to the council

This would be a great opportunity for someone looking to:

• Get back into employment
• Do some volunteering
• Become more politically active
• Find out how local authorities work
