Scotland’s Employer Recruitment Incentive is aimed at helping unemployed young people who are facing significan challenges. The aim is to encourage employers to recruit young people aged 16-24 years old [or up to 29 years old for young people with Additional support Needs] into sustainable employment, including Modern Apprenticeships.
Employers can receive a maximum grant of £4,463 whn employing a young person for a minimum of one year!
The incentive will be available to use as a contribution to the additional costs of recruiting and sustaining a young person in employment for up to 52 weeks.
So if you are a young person aged between 16 and 24 years old, or up to 29 years old if you have Additional Support Needs, currently unemployed and looking for long term employment opportunities.
